Zach Snyder is well under way with the new Man of Steel movie. This Superman reboot has every fan holding their breath as to how well the final picture is actually going to be. For myself, I hope it is a cinematical masterpiece that exceeds all expectations. And, of course, action. Full on action.

Anyway, the Superman Homepage has some evidence that the movie is actually getting underway. They have posted what is said to be the structures for Clark Kent’s hometown of Smallville.

As you can see from the photos the buildings look they are built to resemble buildings that have sustained damage. Damage from what? Did Superman do it? We can only guess for now.

Man of Steel is going to have a star studded cast in Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond and Christopher Meloni. Plans are for a December 2012 release.

The good people over at Batman-News.com have received some photos from the set of the next Batman movie. These The Dark Knight Rises photos are of the newly rebuilt Wayne Manor.

The manor is actually Wollaton Hall in Nottingham, England.

The Dark Knight Rising has Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Anne Hathaway starring in it. The release date is July 20, 2012.

You can say one thing about the Twilight phenomenon: It is incredibly popular with teenage girls. It seems everywhere you go a teen girl is wearing some sort of Twilight clothing or accessory, is toting one of the four booksin the teen vampire romance saga.

For those of you, like me, who are waiting for the next installment of the Jigsaw saga, you do not have to wait anymore. Today, there was some new pictures released of the upcoming Saw VI. On the one hand I am very excited about it, but on the other I’m rather disturbed by it. I mean, how can people continue thinking up these incredibly morbid games?

When you think about television, or movie, vehicles several come to mind. One of those is the cool blacked out van used in the A-Team. Well, today SplashNewsOnline.com threw up a few pics of the van being used in the upcoming A-Team movie.

While I sit and hope that the A-Team movie lives up to the actual television show, this first pic of the van running through dirt roads is alright for now.

When I heard the news that Nightmare on Elm Street was going to be remade, I had mixed feelings. Freddy was an alright boogeyman, but the Elm Street movies are not my favorite. I am more of a Jason person.

Anyway, when the news broke that Jackie Earle Haley was going to be playing the role of Freddy Krueger I was a little more intrigued. Now that the first pictures are making their way onto the internet, I have to say that I just might have to see this upcoming release.

The movie is scheduled to be released on April 16th, 2010 and will also be starring Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Rooney Mara, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy, Clancy Brown, and Connie Britton.

I am not usually one to get on the whole “remake” bandwagon. I would like to just keep the old classics the way they are, but a remake of Nightmare just might be something that I will enjoy.

I seriously can’t wait until Iron Man 2 hits theaters. But, I don’t know about Mickey Rourke starring at Whiplash. Judging from the picture that has been released, I’d tell director John Favreau to take that one back to casting. I hope I’m wrong, but… that just looks dreadful.

To me Iron Man was the best movie of 2008. I also think it completely kicked The Dark Knight out of the theater. I really hope that the upcoming Iron Man 2 can deliver the same intensity.

The first picture from the actual shooting of Iron Man 2 has finally made its way to the Internet for careful observation.

And while it’s not exactly thrilling, explosive, or telling… it is still from Iron Man 2. That’s all that matters.

The first pictures of Russell Crowe suited up as Robin Hood in the upcoming Ridley Scott movie are finally making their way to the ‘net. I have to say that I have mixed emotions about whether or not I am excited about this movie. I fell in love with the 1991 Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves, starring Kevin Costner and don’t know if Russell Crowe can carry this type of movie. Sure, he was great in Gladiator, but has kind of lost a little of his appeal recently.

Although, with Scott as the director it might just be something worthwhile to see. The film is also starring Cate Blanchett, Vanessa Redgrave and William Hurt. Robin Hood is scheduled for a 2010 release.

Russell Crowe as Robin Hood
