Jackie Chan’s Karate Kid Remake First Look Title Pic

The original The Karate Kidis one of the timeless movies that you simply must see. It’s up there with Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, and Ben Hur as tremendous stories and cinematic prose. Why Sony feels the need to remake this classic is beyond me, but it is on.

The film has started filming in China with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. While there have been several different set photos featured at SlashFilm.com, this is the first look at the artwork that will be associated with the title. Looks cool, but I’m still not convinced a remake is a good idea.

I guess we will have to wait and see.
