X-Men Origins: Wolverine Opens Up In Number 1 Spot.
It really shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise that the newly released X-Men Origins: Wolverine would open up at the number one box office draw. Even the internet leaks of the workprint didn’t seem to slow down the opening weekend.
Taking in a pretty healthy $87 million US open for the weekend, puts Wolverine miles ahead of the second place Ghosts of Girlfriends Past which only took in $15.3 million. On a global scale Wolverine raked in a whopping $160 million.
