What I’m Watching Tonight; Body of Lies
Tonight I’m going to take a chance on Body of Lies with Leonardo Dicaprio and Russell Crowe.
I have to tell you from the beginning that I am not a big fan of DiCaprio. I really don’t like much that he’s ever been in, with the exception of Titanic, but it wasn’t just about him. However, the trailers have all looked pretty good and I like to see Russell Crowe when he is at the top of his game. His last few roles could have been much better (I’m still waiting for a Gladiator sequel) and I’d like to see something out of this film.
The quick plot summary is…
The CIAs hunt is on for the mastermind of a wave of terrorist attacks. Roger Ferris is the agencys man on the ground, moving from place to place, scrambling to stay ahead of ever-shifting events. An eye in the sky a satellite link watches Ferris. At the other end of that real-time link is the CIAs Ed Hoffman, strategizing events from thousands of miles away. And as Ferris nears the target, he discovers trust can be just as dangerous as it is necessary for survival.
I’ll give a full review after I watch it. Stay tuned…
