The Dark Knight hits $400 million in record breaking time!
It took only 18 days for The Dark Knight to topple the $400 million mark and make it the fastest in history to reach that milestone.
This incredible feat beats the previous record holder, Shrek 2, in half the time. Shrek 2 didn’t hit this milestone until it’s 43rd day of release. The Dark Knight is now number 8 on the all time money list (which is just astounding as it’s only been out for 18 days!) and is predicted to move up and topple Spiderman by Tuesday.
